Things You Should Know About Google Buzz

Well, it looks like that the Google wants to be the public enemy afterall. They launched Google Nexus One, an Android based smartphone which head-to-head directly with the Apple's iPhone not to forget the super-search-engine, which at this point of time is the best compares to Yahoo oneSearch and Bing. And they're not stopping yet.

Last week, Google Mail, enabled Buzz feature in your inbox. This is a social media from Google. Who are they challenging? Of course the famous social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

These are the points why I said that they are challenging their predecessor :

1. It is simple. To buzz you just simply type in the text area given in the Buzz. (Twitter-like mode)
2. You also could share photos in Picasa or Flicker and of course sharing the links to various sites. (Facebook-like mode)
3. Integrated with your Gmail accounts. (meme Yahoo-like mode)

But of course its totally different from the others. Google is well known for its innovation, not because their plagiarism. Here are the good points from Buzz :

1. Simple public / private posts by choosing from drop-down menu besides the text area.
2. Easy to comment on your friends buzz.
3. There's more than 140 characters to post.
4. Auto following your contacts
5. Integrated with your Gmail which I always open everyday.
6. Integration with Picasa, Flickr, Google Reader, Google Talk status and also Twitter.

After a week using the Buzz, I found that this is a very good one and really promising. There's also been a rumor that it will then integrated with Google Waves which I actually never used (have you?) and will not be a surprise if YouTube also in the Buzz.
